Getting to the Hotel

Upon arrival at the airport, the easiest way of going to your Hotel is by Taxi. The ride is about 20 minutes and the fair should be around 20-25 Euros maximum. If you don't have heavy luggage, you may alternatively take the Metro at the Airport, and get off at Casa da Música station for Hotels in the Boavista area or at Trindade station for Hotels near the ECClima venue (Hotel  Beta, Residencial Porto Nobre and Residência Vale Formoso - for info on this hotels, see also the Hotels page).

  - By Metro: chargeable Metro card "Andante"  (0,50€) + one Z4 tariff (1,50€)

Airport

The Metro Station (Aeroporto) is just in front of the airport. Go to level -1 (follow the indication in the lobby to the metro) and proceed through the underground passage to the metro station (ground level). You can find a vending machine for the metro ticket at the end of this passage. After buying the 'Andante' card charged with a Z4 journey (2,00€) you must validate the card at the optical sensors located on the station platform prior to board the train.

Hotel Tuela & Hotel Fénix

Leaving Casa da Música station you will find a large roundabout (picture below). Hotel Tuela and Hotel Fénix are located on the opposite side of this roundabout (Rotunda da Boavista).

Getting to the ECClima venue

The ECClima venue (see venue page) is located at walking distance (< 10 minutes) from Hotel BETA, Residencial Porto Nobre and Residência Vale Formoso. If this seems to much for you, you may take the BUS (600 or 704) near your Hotel and get off  at Cintura Interna stop - B2 on the map (It is only a 2 or 3 stops ride!).

For participants staying at other Hotels, you may go by Metro (Line D, Polo Universitário station), By BUS nr. 600 coming from Avenida dos Aliados or Trindade Metro station, or BUS nr. 704 coming from Bom Sucesso Market (near Hotel Tuela and Fénix) and get out at Cintura Interna stop - B2 on the map.
